About Us
The Wandering Goat Co. was started in my kitchen as a 28-year-old nurse navigating infertility and searching for healing in both my body and my life.
As someone who faced many medical issues growing up and was in and out of hospitals my whole life, I had my fair share of treatments that eventually led to a Bone Marrow Transplant in 2016. It was the last medical option available for the blood disorder I was born with.
Long-term side effects from the transplant brought constant headaches with no clear cause. That season pushed me toward a slower, more intentional way of living — focusing on nourishment, simple ingredients, and creating things by hand that bring comfort and joy.
That’s when sourdough baking and handmade goods became such an important part of my journey. Baking bread from scratch and crafting small-batch products gave me a creative outlet, a sense of peace, and a way to share something meaningful with others. There’s something special about feeding people and caring for them through wholesome food and thoughtfully made products.
We live in a world filled with toxins and stress, and I believe in choosing simple, nourishing options whenever we can — whether that’s fresh baked bread or what we put on our skin. Every loaf and every product is made with intention, care, and ingredients I trust.
I look forward to sharing the things I love and that bring me so much joy to make — and to sharing them with friends, family, and this growing community.
